Kitchen herbalism is the practice of using familiar culinary herbs and spices from your pantry and garden to support digestion, immunity, and everyday health and wellness.
In this hands-on virtual workshop, we’ll explore simple, practical herbal preparations for the season ahead. Together, we’ll make a one-gallon batch of fire cider tonic, while learning about two additional seasonal preparations to support immune and overall health and wellness through the fall and winter months.
We’ll dive into the plant profiles of the herbs and spices we use and practice folk-herbalist techniques for blending, infusing, and tasting. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how everyday ingredients can become useful allies in your home apothecary—and leave with the skills and confidence to continue making simple herbal preparations for yourself.
A detailed materials list will be provided one week before the workshop.
