8 oz. tonics come in amber glass bottles with a screw lid
Organic elderberries, ginger, cinnamon, and raw honey
Elderberries are rich in anthocyanins, vitamin C, and B-complex vitamins, making them a powerful source of antioxidants. Antioxidants help protect the body from oxidative and inflammatory damage, while rutin and other flavonoids in elderberries may help support a healthy inflammatory response.
Elderberries are also well known for their antiviral properties. Studies suggest they may help inhibit viral activity and reproduction, making them a popular choice for supporting the body during cold and flu season.
Perhaps most notably, elderberries have been studied for their ability to support immune function, helping to strengthen and stimulate the body’s natural defenses.
One thing to note: elderberries can have a mild laxative effect due to naturally occurring compounds that may affect water absorption in the intestines and stimulate intestinal contractions.
A lot of store-bought elderberry syrups are able to last in the medicine cabinet for so long because they contain additives and preservatives that are generally regarded as unhealthy. Our Elderberry Tonic does not contain any additives or preservatives (honey itself is a natural preservative, but it does not preserve the other ingredients), so it does need to be stored in the back of your refrigerator upon arrival. Store in the back of your refrigerator between uses.
Take 1 tablespoon daily or as needed to support immune health. Take straight or try pairing with any number of things. We love taking this syrup straight by the spoonful, but it’s also delicious drizzled over yogurt or ice cream for a little extra treat.
